# Results

> Upload lab result files and send them to patients on WhatsApp automatically

The Results page lists every intake whose status is **Ready** - meaning the test has run and the report needs to go out to the patient.

Navigate to **Dashboard → Lab → Results**.

## Sending a result

Each ready intake shows the patient's name, phone, tests, and the time they were registered.

    Upload the result PDF (or image) to the intake card. Kashfy stores it against the patient's record.

  <Step title="Kashfy sends it on WhatsApp">
    As soon as the file is uploaded, it goes out on WhatsApp with a short cover message. No manual send step.

  <Step title="Status moves to Delivered">
    The intake disappears from the Results queue and is marked delivered in the patient's history.

  If the patient didn't provide a phone number at intake, the result file is stored but not sent. You'll need to hand it over in person or add a phone later.

## Viewing past results

Once an intake is marked delivered, its result file stays attached to the patient's record. Open the patient from **Patients** to see every historical result.
