Patients

Every person who books an appointment through Kashfy — whether via WhatsApp or the widget — is automatically added as a patient record. You can also add patients manually.

The patients list

Navigate to Dashboard → Patients to see all patients who have interacted with your clinic through Kashfy. Each patient record shows:

• Name and phone number
• Channel they came through (WhatsApp or widget)
• Total appointments at your clinic
• Last visit date
• Registration date (when they first booked)

Adding patients manually

To add a patient without them having messaged your clinic:

1. Go to Dashboard → Patients
2. Click Add Patient
3. Enter their name and phone number
4. Optionally book an appointment directly from their record

Patient identity

Kashfy identifies patients primarily by their phone number:

• WhatsApp patients: identified by their WhatsApp phone number
• Widget patients: identified by a browser session key (no phone required)

If the same patient contacts your clinic via both WhatsApp and the website widget, they will appear as two separate records (since the widget session doesn’t require a phone number). Merging is not yet supported.

Searching for a patient

Use the search bar at the top of the patients list to find a patient by name or phone number.

Privacy and data

Patient data stored in Kashfy includes only what is needed for appointment management: name, phone number, booking history, and conversation logs. No medical records or clinical data are stored.
